In December, 2016, the specialists of the company “Advanced Technologies and Service”, in Antarctica, from the icefield of the Russian station “Novolazarevskaya”, flew for parachute dropping on the fuel production systems of the company to the FD-83 point, according to the international program “DROMLAN”. The flight was made on a modernized IL-76 aircraft with PS-90 engines of Volga-Dnepr Airlines. At the same time, the modernized aircraft was tested in the modes “Takeoff”, “Landing” at icefields. Without losses, 41 tons of fuel were delivered, the tests were successful.
